Rubber waterstops have good elasticity, wear resistance, aging resistance, and tear resistance, strong adaptability to deformation, and good waterproof performance. The temperature range for the use of rubber waterstops is -45 ℃ -+60 ℃. When the temperature exceeds 70 ℃, or when the rubber waterstop is subjected to strong oxidation or organic solvents such as oil, it should not be used.
The use of rubber waterstops, when the structure undergoes significant deformation, causes the transverse section of the rubber waterstop to elongate and thin with the settlement of the structure. When subjected to fatigue deformation, new leakage gaps are likely to form. However, when using steel plate rubber waterstops, the adhesion between the steel plates on both sides and the surrounding concrete structure is strong, and the adhesion between the steel plate and rubber is also firm.
