China has a large quantity, diverse types, and wide distribution of straw, with an annual straw production of nearly 700 million tons. For a long time, straw has been the main living fuel, livestock feed, and organic fertilizer for rural residents in China. In recent years, with the transfer of rural labor, improvement of energy consumption structure, and the application of various alternative raw materials, seasonal and structural straw surplus has begun to occur in some areas, especially in grain production areas and economically developed coastal areas, where illegal burning, resource waste, and environmental pollution occur. The promotion and application of straw granulators can effectively promote the comprehensive utilization of straw, realize the resource utilization and commercialization of straw, promote resource conservation, environmental protection, and increase farmers' income.
The straw granulator can effectively extrude and granulate various types of straw, rice husks, various leaves and other plants. A single device can produce 300-1000 kilograms of straw particles per hour. Cone spiral extrusion technology is widely used for the extrusion molding of biomass materials such as straw, which deeply utilizes waste straw, saves energy and reduces emissions, and locally solves energy problems. After granulation, straw can be directly sent to power plants for combustion and electricity generation, and can also be directly used for industrial boilers and civilian use. It can also provide compressed feed for livestock breeding. In addition, all biomass raw materials can be used as raw materials.
At present, the comprehensive utilization of straw in foreign countries is already very mature, such as the production of biofuels and the fertilizer utilization of straw. At present, there are several aspects of straw utilization both domestically and internationally, such as straw pyrolysis gasification, straw solidification into fuel, straw direct combustion for power generation, straw biogas, etc. Equipment directly solidifies straw into particles, which are then processed into charcoal or transported directly to power plants, farmers, etc. for use as fuel.
The working principle of the spiral straw granulator: The straw granulator adopts the conical spiral extrusion technology, which gradually crushes, pressurizes, self heats, dehydrates, and plasticizes the straw in one go. It can be roughly divided into three working steps: cutting - straw granulation - forming and packaging. More convenient and efficient than old-fashioned equipment that requires crushing, drying, and sieving.
Characteristics and advantages of spiral straw granulator compared to traditional equipment:
1. Most biomass raw materials can produce irregularly shaped particles below 30mm, and the finished product does not need to be dried again.
2. Some raw materials with high moisture content can be granulated without drying.
3. Straw does not need to be crushed, it only needs to be cut into sections of less than 20cm and fed into the machine mouth.
4. Fragile parts have a long service life, are easy to replace, and require fewer replacement parts.
5. The new straw granulator is easy to operate and environmentally friendly.
6. Adopting a mobile design, the location can be easily and quickly changed according to the distribution of raw materials.
