TBI linear guide is an essential component for the smooth use of CNC cutting machines
The guide rail of a CNC cutting machine is a groove or ridge made of metal or other materials, which can bear, fix, guide moving devices or equipment and reduce their friction. The longitudinal groove or ridge on the surface of the guide rail is used to guide and fix machine components, specialized equipment, instruments, etc. A guide rail, also known as a slide rail, linear guide rail, or linear slide rail, is used for linear reciprocating motion and can achieve high-precision linear motion under high loads.
The installation and adjustment of the guide rail of a CNC cutting machine is very important, as the guide rail can achieve high-precision cutting motion of the cutting machine under load. The installation and adjustment of the cutting machine guide rail are done well, which helps to improve the service life and cutting accuracy of the cutting machine. Therefore, the installation and adjustment of the cutting machine guide rail must be done well in newly built factories.
1. Use a pressure plate to press one main and one auxiliary guide rail at each end, which serves as the basis for adjusting the horizontal and vertical levelness of the guide rail, the flatness of the main and auxiliary guide rails, and the spacing between them. The straightness of the guide rail is based on the standard distance between the steel wire and the side of the guide rail.
2. Adjust the distance between the two end faces of each main guide rail and the standard steel wire one by one using adjustment pins and feeler gauges, and adjust it to the standard distance. A good guide rail will make the CNC cutting machine operate smoothly, and the service life and cutting accuracy of the CNC cutting machine will also be improved; A good guide rail cutting machine will also run smoothly on it, and the cutting quality is also good.
3. Tighten the standard steel wire of 1/2000mm at both ends of the guide rail, and adjust the adjustment screws on the two pads of the guide rail to make the distance between the sides of the guide rail and the standard steel wire a certain value, and use this distance as the standard distance.
4. Measure the distance between the main and auxiliary guide rails at both ends using a steel tape measure with a tension of 20N and a stretching accuracy of 1/2000mm, which should be the span of the machine tool. Otherwise, adjust the guide rails with a whole steel wire and ensure that the standard distance remains unchanged.
5. Measure the flatness of the main guide rail and the auxiliary guide rail at both ends with a theodolite with an accuracy of 1/10000mm, and adjust the flatness of the main and auxiliary guide rails at both ends within 0.5mm by raising the bolts on the guide rail.
6. After the calibration of the auxiliary guide rail is qualified, the connecting bolts between the guide rails should be carefully tightened, and the guide rails should be compressed with a pressure plate. At the same time, the various parts of the guide rail should be carefully checked to ensure that they do not move or deform, and the horizontal and side surfaces at the joint of the guide rail should be kept smooth.
