The principle of frequency conversion control for temporary water supply equipment on construction sites:


Using variable frequency speed regulation to achieve constant pressure water supply has a significant energy-saving effect compared to using regulating valves to achieve constant pressure water supply (which can be calculated according to specific situations). Its advantages are:


a、 Starting balance, the starting current can be limited within the rated current, thereby avoiding the impact on the power grid during starting;


b、 Because the average speed of the pump has decreased, which can extend the service life of the pump and valves;


c、 Temporary water supply pumps at construction sites can eliminate water hammer effects during start-up and shutdown;


Generally speaking, when operating an electric motor with a frequency converter, it is only necessary to match the capacity of the motor equipped with the frequency converter with the actual motor capacity. When a frequency converter controls two motors simultaneously, the capacity of the motor equipped with the frequency converter should be equal to the sum of the capacities of the two motors. But when the water consumption during peak load is much different from the full speed water supply of two pumps,


Consider reducing the capacity of the frequency converter appropriately, but pay attention to leaving enough capacity.


Temporary water supply pumps on construction sites are used for large residential areas and high-rise buildings. If only a main pump unit and a small flow pump are equipped, the flow rate QL of the small pump and the flow rate QM of the main pump are significantly different. When the flow regulation range is between QL and 1/3Qm, the operating power of the pump is still very low, resulting in uneconomical operation and energy waste. And frequent pump replacement operations may occur when the flow rate is greater than or close to QL. In order to ensure that the water pump can always operate at high power within the full flow range, it is necessary to add a medium flow water pump with flow rates ranging from 1/3Qm to 1/2QM. In special circumstances, two types of medium flow water pumps can also be added. In this way, the flow rate of all water pumps is selected in a stepped manner, so that the equipment operates in the high-power range of the water pump at any flow rate, which is more energy-efficient.
