Overview
Introduction to UV rays in UV sterilizers: UV rays are light with a wavelength of 10-400 nanometers (nm) in sunlight, which can be divided into three types: UVA (UVA, 320-400 nm, long wave), UVB (280-320 nm, medium wave), and UVC (100-280 nm, short wave). Among them, the carcinogenicity, redness, and sunburn effects of UVA are 1000 times greater than those of UVB. UVC is generally blocked by the ozone layer. IR (Infrared) is infrared radiation that can cause sunburn, microvascular dilation, dermatitis, and promote the carcinogenicity of ultraviolet radiation. Ultraviolet radiation can cause the skin to produce a large amount of free radicals, leading to peroxidation of the cell membrane and causing melanocytes to produce more melanin, which is then distributed upwards to the stratum corneum of the epidermis, resulting in black spots. Ultraviolet radiation can be said to be the culprit causing wrinkles, aging, sagging, and dark spots on the skin.
