The rake type vacuum dryer is a novel horizontal intermittent vacuum drying equipment. Wet materials are evaporated through conduction, and a scraper stirrer is used to continuously remove the materials on the hot surface and move them inside the container to form a circulating flow. After the water evaporates, it is extracted by a vacuum pump.This machine adopts a large-area interlayer heating method, with a large heat transfer surface and high thermal efficiency. It is equipped with agitation to form a continuous circulation state of the material in the cylinder, further improving the uniformity of material heating and enabling smooth drying of slurry, paste, and paste like materials.

Safe operation method of vacuum rake dryer:  

1. Connect the intake pipe behind the rake vacuum dryer to the vacuum pump through a vacuum rubber tube, and turn on the power supply of the vacuum pump.

2. Place the items that need to be dried into the machine, close the machine door, close the vent valve, open the vacuum valve, and then turn on the power of the vacuum pump to start pumping, so that the vacuum degree inside the machine reaches -0.1Mpa. Close the vacuum valve, and then turn off the power switch of the vacuum pump.

3. Plug in the power, the temperature controller displays numbers, and sets the temperature and heating mode (when heating up, the full power heating mode can be set to 1, and when maintaining a constant temperature, the half power heating mode can be set to 2).

4. After the setting is completed, all data will be saved for a long time. The rake type vacuum dryer enters the heating state, and the heating indicator light (green light) is on. When the temperature approaches the set temperature, the traffic lights alternate and repeat multiple times to enter a constant temperature state.

5. After drying, turn off the power first, rotate the air release valve, release the vacuum state inside the machine, and remove the items.


Vacuum pumping debugging of vacuum rake dryer:

Close the box door and tighten the door handle in place. Close the air release valve (twist the hole on the rubber plug 90 ° off the hole on the air release valve), and open the vacuum valve (rotate counterclockwise 90 °). The vacuum valve may be tightly closed during the first use and can be rotated with force.

Use the random accessory vacuum connecting tube (inner diameter: Φ 16mm, wall thickness: 10mm) to firmly connect the vacuum drying oven suction tube (outer diameter: Φ 16mm) and the vacuum pump (2XZ-2 type, inlet outer diameter: Φ 16mm) (6090 and 6210 types have been connected). Connect the power supply of the vacuum pump and start pumping. When the vacuum gauge reading reaches -0.1Mpa, close the vacuum valve first and then turn off the power supply of the vacuum pump to prevent the vacuum pump oil from flowing back into the working chamber. At this time, the vacuum dryer is in a vacuum state.


Maintenance, upkeep, and operating precautions

Due to its simple structure, the rake type vacuum dryer rarely malfunctions under normal use. The newly put into use rake dryer should replace the lubricating oil in a timely manner according to the requirements of the reducer manual, and regularly add lubricating oil to maintain the normal oil level in the future. The bearings at both ends of the rake shaft have been lubricated with grease before leaving the factory, and lubricating grease (synthetic composite aluminum based grease) should be added at least once every six months during operation.

The sealing of the packing at both ends of the dryer should be replaced with asbestos packing according to the sealing condition in a timely manner. The replacement of packing must be carried out under unloaded parking conditions and is not allowed to be replaced during operation.

When adding materials to the cylinder of the dryer, no hard objects other than the material should fall into it, so as not to cause the rake shaft to get stuck and affect the normal operation of the equipment. The motor and electrical appliances should be maintained and serviced according to the corresponding instructions.
