Vertical Centrifugal PumpIt is usually composed of two or more impellers connected in series, and the medium pressure relief port of each stage of impeller is connected to the inlet of the next stage, forming a multi-stage boosting effect. The overcurrent part of the pump is made of stainless steel material, suitable for mildly corrosive media. The vertical structure makes the installation and maintenance of the pump more convenient.

1. Compact structure and small footprint: Due to its vertical design, only a small installation foundation area is required, making it particularly suitable for space limited occasions (such as pipeline wells, equipment layers, and ship bottoms).

2. The motor is not easily affected by moisture: The motor is located above the pump body, and even if the pump body is submerged or the environment is humid, the motor is not easily submerged, and the protection requirements are relatively low.

3. Easy to maintain: MostVertical Centrifugal PumpThe motor and shaft seal components are located at the top, and when inspecting or replacing mechanical seals or bearings, there is usually no need to disassemble the pipelines and motor, making maintenance convenient.

4. Suitable for high suction applications: Vertical multi-stage centrifugal pumps can easily stack impeller stages to achieve high head, making them a suitable choice for high-rise water supply and boiler water supply.

5. Good cavitation performance: The first stage impeller of some vertical pumps (such as vertical pipeline pumps) can be submerged underwater, improving the inlet conditions and having better anti cavitation ability than ordinary horizontal pumps.

● Correct installation: Ensure that the foundation is firm and the weight of the pipeline does not act on the pump body. For long shaft pumps, the alignment accuracy of the shaft must be ensured.

Before starting the pump, except for self-priming pumps, the pump chamber and suction pipeline must be filled with liquid and the air must be completely drained before starting.

● Avoid dry running and cavitation: It is strictly prohibited to run without water. Listen to noise during operation, abnormal "popping" sounds may be cavitation, and the inlet conditions need to be checked immediately.

● Regular inspection: Check the temperature, vibration, and leakage of the bearings. Regularly replace bearing grease and inspect mechanical seals.

Long term disuse: Drain the liquid from the pump and perform rust prevention treatment on the shaft and other parts.
