Structural characteristics of WLZ vertical non clogging self-priming centrifugal pump:
Compared with the WFB type unobstructed self-priming pump, the WLZ (WZY) type self-priming pump has significant technical advantages:
1. The impeller of the water pump is a closed structure, with an efficiency 10% to 15% higher than the open structure used in the WFB non clogging self-priming pump impeller. The motor power of pumps with the same energy parameters is generally one level lower, resulting in significant energy savings. At the same time, the impeller has good cavitation performance, and the installation allows for a suction depth of 0.5-1m deeper than that of WFB pumps.
2. The water pump adopts a "multi-channel blade type air-water mixing separator (self suction cup)" for self-priming, which has the outstanding feature of quickly completing the self-priming process. Compared with the WFB pump using a single volute pressure chamber self-priming time, it shortens by more than 1/3 to 1/2, and the pump has a small volume and light weight.
3. There are two types of inlet types: WLZ pump adopts a pipeline structure, and the inlet and outlet can be sucked in and discharged from any direction in a 360 ° plane. The WZY pump adopts a downward suction design, and the discharge port can be in any direction at a plane angle of 270 °. When repairing the water pump, there is no need to dismantle the inlet and outlet pipelines, especially the WZY type has a small footprint, saving infrastructure investment.
4. The seal adopts a multi-faceted linked fluid dynamic seal, consisting of a secondary impeller seal and a shutdown seal. The WFB type vertical self-priming water pump fluid dynamic seal does not have a dedicated shutdown seal and is not suitable for frequent start-up situations.
5. The connection method is a rigid direct connection between the water pump and the motor. When viewed from the motor end, the pump rotates clockwise.
6. The inlet of the water pump does not require auxiliary equipment such as check valves or electromagnetic vacuum breaking valves like the WFB pump. It has a special U-shaped tube structure and air balance holes that automatically break the siphon. When the pump is stopped, the siphon effect cannot evacuate the stored liquid in the pump. Therefore, as long as the liquid is filled during the first operation, there is no need to add liquid during subsequent operations, truly achieving one-time liquid injection and lifelong use.
7. The water pump can be equipped with a control cabinet, which has multiple functions such as automatic start stop and overload alarm based on liquid, achieving unmanned operation and automatic operation.
