Wine residue is the dissolved residue and fine particles left after distilling alcohol or alcoholic beverages from grains and removing solid grains through coarse filtration. The alcohol, starch sugar, monosodium glutamate, citric acid and other industries in China's food industry mainly use grains as raw materials, but the utilization rate of raw materials is relatively low, with at least 30-40% of the raw materials becoming wastewater and waste residue.
Wine residue is rich in nutrients, containing various organic compounds, B vitamins, and cellulose, making it a good raw material for edible mushroom cultivation. At the same time, after drying, wine residue can also be used as a compound feed for animal husbandry.

Equipment structure

Process Introduction


Wet wine residue is fed into a drum, which is equipped with multiple spiral shaped plates arranged inside. The rotation of the drum drives the plates to continuously lift the wine residue. The striking device on the drum wall prevents the material from sticking to the drum wall and plates. The lifted material fully contacts with the hot air flow introduced by the induced draft system, accelerating drying heat and mass transfer, evaporating water, completing drying, and is discharged from the discharge port.Wine lees dryerWet distiller's grains with a moisture content of around 65% can be dehydrated and dried to a dry product with a moisture content of around 10%, which can be used to make high protein feed, achieving mechanization, industrialization, and automation of distiller's grains drying treatment.
