The YK42X/F water piston pressure reducing valve is mainly composed of a valve body, a valve cover, a spring, a piston, a valve seat, etc. It uses the pressure transmitted directly from the valve back to the piston, and the pressure below is maintained in a balanced state, with sensitive and fast action. Piston type pressure reducing valves are suitable for water, air, and non corrosive liquid pipelines with medium temperatures ranging from 0 to 90 ℃. They can replace conventional partitioned water pipes, simplify and save system equipment, and reduce project costs. Mainly used in the cold and hot water supply systems of urban and high-rise buildings, it can replace conventional partitioned water pipes and save equipment. It can also play a role in reducing pressure and stabilizing pressure in typical hot and cold water pipe networks. Y42X adjustable pressure reducing valve has smooth pressure regulation and stabilizing action, suitable for pipelines with water and non corrosive liquid media.
Pressure regulating steps of pressure reducing valve:
1. Close the valve before the pressure reducing valve and open the valve after the pressure reducing valve to create a downstream low-pressure environment.
2. Remove the protective cover adjustment screw on the upper end of the pressure reducing valve and rotate it counterclockwise to the upper position (relative to the low outlet pressure of Z), then close the rear valve of the pressure reducing valve.
3. Slowly open the valve before the pressure reducing valve until it is fully open.
4. Slowly rotate the adjusting screw clockwise to adjust the outlet pressure to the desired pressure (based on the gauge behind the valve). After adjustment, tighten the locking nut, screw on the protective cover, and open the pressure reducing valve.
5. If the pressure is adjusted too much, it must be readjusted from the first step.

Common faults and troubleshooting methods:
Fault phenomenon: Unstable pressure fluctuations
Fault analysis:
1. Air mixed into the oil
2. Damping holes are sometimes blocked
3. The roundness of the slide valve and the inner hole of the valve body exceeds the specified limit, causing the valve to get stuck
4. The spring is deformed or stuck in the slide valve, making it difficult for the slide valve to move or the spring is too soft
5. The steel ball is not round, the steel ball does not fit well with the valve seat, or the cone valve is not installed correctly
Exclusion method:
1. Remove air from the oil
2. Clean the damping hole
3. Repair and research valve holes and slide valves
4. Replace the spring
5. Replace the steel ball or disassemble the cone valve for adjustment
Fault phenomenon: The secondary pressure does not rise high
Fault analysis:
1. Leakage and leakage
2. Poor contact between cone valve and valve seat
Exclusion method:
1. Replace seals, tighten screws, and ensure even torque distribution
2. Repair or replace
Fault phenomenon: does not have a pressure reducing effect
Fault analysis:
1. The oil drain port is blocked; The drain pipe is connected to the return pipe and has a return oil pressure
2. The main valve core is stuck in the fully open position
Exclusion method:
1. The drain pipe must be separated from the return pipe and returned to the oil tank separately
2. Repair and replace parts. Check the oil quality
