Overview
The Y552-B self-cleaning COD sensor from Yushan Sensing is based on the principle of ultraviolet absorption, which does not require reagents, is pollution-free, more economical and environmentally friendly. Combining with many application experiences, it has undergone multiple upgrades and innovations on the basis of the previous generation, with a fully metal structure and smaller size. The sensor is equipped with an automatic cleaning device that compensates for turbidity interference, ensuring stability even during long-term online water quality monitoring.

PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS
UV法COD
The probe is used for direct immersion measurement, based on the principle of selective absorption of specific wavelengths of ultraviolet and visible light by organic matter in water. The concentration of organic matter is determined by the absorption of monochromatic light by water samples, and the relationship between the absorbance of a solution at specific wavelengths and COD values is established.
RS485 digital intelligent sensor
Digital sensors have strong anti-interference capabilities and do not require traditional secondary instruments. They can be directly integrated with devices such as PLC, DTU, DCS, touch screens, etc. Assist in the implementation of water quality monitoring solutions to meet customer needs.
Multi parameter measurement with zero pollution
The Yushan UV COD sensor can simultaneously measure COD, TOC, turbidity, and temperature in real-time. Compared to chemical methods, UV absorption method does not require reagents, pre-treatment, or secondary pollution.
Low power consumption and low maintenance
The overall power consumption is low, and it can be powered by solar energy, which is convenient and fast. Cleaning the optical window of the sensor can eliminate contamination and suspended solids in the on-site working conditions, resulting in longer maintenance cycles and lower maintenance costs.

Product Introduction
- The Yushan UV absorption COD sensor is smaller in size and integrates the original split cleaning brush, making installation easier and more reliable.
- RS485 digital interface, supporting MODBUS protocol, environmentally friendly design, can be easily integrated into water quality monitoring systems to meet customer needs.
- Equipped with an automatic cleaning device, it has a wide range of applications and can be used for water quality testing in multiple scenarios such as surface water, sewage, seawater, and tap water.
- Compared with traditional chemical methods, UV absorption COD sensors do not require reagents or pretreatment, and can monitor the dynamics of organic matter in water quality in real time without generating secondary pollution.
