Introduction:

The YEJ series brake motor is a fully enclosed self fan sub cooled squirrel cage three-phase asynchronous motor with an additional disc type DC brake. It has the advantages of fast braking, simple structure, high reliability, and strong universality. In addition, the brake has a manual release mechanism and is widely used in various mechanical equipment and transmission devices that require fast stopping and accurate positioning.
Principle and Structure: The DC disc brake of YEJ series brake motors is installed on the end cover of the non shaft extension end of the motor. When the brake motor is connected to the power supply, the brake also works simultaneously. Due to the electromagnetic attraction, the electromagnet attracts the armature and compresses the spring, causing the brake disc to detach from the end cover of the armature and the electric motor to start running. When the power is cut off, the brake electromagnet loses its magnetic attraction, and the spring pushes the armature to press the brake disc. Under the action of friction torque, the motor immediately stops the YEJ brake motor corresponding to each model. Our factory also produces corresponding YDEJ dual speed motors.
The power supply for the brake is provided by the rectifier inside the motor junction box, with AC220V-DC99V for 3 kW and below, and AC380-DC170V for 4 kW and above.
