Gas fuel has a high calorific value and low emissions of pollutants. In general, the combustion of natural gas still emits a certain amount of NO. Research in the past decade has shown that catalytic combustion technology may solve the above problems, enabling gas combustion to meet low emission standards, approaching zero emissions, and effectively improving the thermal efficiency inside the furnace. The working principle of the burner is to change the energy of the entire system by adjusting the amount of mixed gas entering the combustion system when it is necessary to change the combustion power.

2. Combustion operation
Combustion start-up process: When the control system receives the set start-up operation, it will start the combustion operation state. The control system first starts self checking and then starts pre blowing. The frequency converter outputs a signal to control the rotation of the fan, and the air volume gradually changes from low speed to high speed and then to low speed. Fresh air blows through the combustion furnace plate to ensure that there is no residual gas in the furnace and the ignition process is reliable. The specific operation is to start the frequency converter first, and the PLc analog output signal causes the frequency of the frequency converter to rise from the starting set frequency. After reaching the frequency, it remains at the specified time and then falls again, completing the blowing before starting. Afterwards, the ignition signal is sent out, and the high-pressure igniter works. At the same time, the valve of the ignition pipeline is opened, and a small flame is ignited. After the expiration of the small flame detected by the ultraviolet sensor, open the main gas valve. At this point, the catalytic combustion equipment furnace plate undergoes flame combustion until the detected temperature signal reaches the set ignition shutdown temperature, the ignition valve is closed, and the ignition process is completed, entering the combustion regulation stage. Setting of Fuel Air Ratio: Data shows that during catalytic combustion, under specified combustion conditions, when the fuel/air ratio is 6%, the catalytic combustion effect of natural gas is better, and the combustion system can achieve thermal efficiency while also achieving good emission results. The adjustment of the gas to air ratio in this system is achieved through a zero pressure valve. When the air volume of the fan is changed, the fuel/air ratio can also be adjusted to meet the requirements of catalytic combustion operation. When starting, as long as the frequency of the output frequency converter is adjusted to achieve the required change in fuel/air ratio from flame combustion to catalytic combustion during ignition. Combustion temperature regulation: The keyboard in the text display can modulate the temperature of the burner, the output frequency of the frequency converter can be changed, and the air volume modulation is appropriate. When the air volume increases and the combustion temperature exceeds the set value, PLc controls the frequency converter to reduce the output frequency and decrease the air volume to stabilize the temperature of the burner. If the output frequency of the frequency converter is lower than the set value (fan output frequency, set to 5 Hz), but the output air volume is still higher than the set value, PLc will start timing. If it drops to the set value within the specified time, PLc will give up timing and continue variable frequency speed control operation; If the temperature remains above the set value within the specified time, PLc will continue to adjust until it reaches the set value. Control the frequency output of the frequency converter through PID operation by PLc; If the temperature is not sufficient, the frequency will increase and maintain the specified time. Vice versa.
3. Stop state of catalytic combustion equipment
After receiving the stop command from the monitor, the burner will stop working. First, turn off the main gas valve. Then, the system will perform a rear purge to disperse residual gas and forcibly cool down the combustion disk through air cooling. After a period of time, the fan is turned off, the frequency converter stops working, and the burner shutdown process is completed. The working process of the system is mainly divided into three types: setting of state parameters, combustion operation, and combustion stop.
