1、 Pure PTFE gasket

Polytetrafluoroethylene has a pH value of 0-14 (excluding molten alkali metals and fluorine under high temperature and pressure). It can have good mechanical strength between -100 ℃ and 100 ℃. Attention: When the temperature is below -185 ℃. PTFE gaskets will become brittle. Pure polytetrafluoroethylene gasket is a clean sealing product, which will not pollute any substances it contacts. 2、 PTFE clamp gasket
It is composed of soft pads such as asbestos rubber sheets or asbestos free sheets, and PTFE coated thin sheets. The V-shaped (cut type) PTFE clamping gasket is mechanically turned from PTFE sheets, and the U-shaped (folded type) PTFE clamping gasket is made by heating and bonding PTFE tape edges. It has excellent corrosion resistance and good compression rebound rate, and is widely used for sealing various strong acids, strong alkalis, strong oxidants, and non polluting media. Usually applicable to medium and low voltage areas.
3、 Expanded PTFE sealing gasket
Made of polytetrafluoroethylene resin, which is pressed and sintered using molds, it has excellent corrosion resistance, good self-lubricating properties, and non adhesive properties, making it almost resistant to all chemical media. It also has characteristics such as wear resistance, pressure resistance, and low friction coefficient. Widely used for flange sealing of pipelines, pumps, valves and other equipment in corrosive media such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, machinery, food, and electricity. In fact, for expanded PTFE gaskets, they are mainly made of 100% pure PTFE with isotropic fiber structure and plate-shaped sealing gaskets.
While maintaining excellent properties such as heat resistance, chemical resistance, and viscosity resistance, PTFE also has excellent resistance to creep, cold flow, and stress relaxation, and can extend the service life of thermal cycles, thereby achieving an increase in the service life of gaskets. A good compression rebound performance can be used in stress sensitive connections, and it is not affected by microorganisms and fungi. The special production process ensures that the longitudinal and transverse tensile strengths are basically the same, which makes the width of the material unchanged after compression, which is different from expanded PTFE tape.
Due to this special property, expanded PTFE gaskets are more suitable for narrow sealing surfaces and sealing devices that require gasket width. Expanded PTFE gasket has most of the advantages of PTFE gasket, but it does not have creep and cold flow problems. The sealing performance of expanded PTFE gasket is not only very reliable, but also has the characteristics of sealing, high temperature resistance, burst resistance, etc. Therefore, it is superior to other PTFE plate-shaped gaskets.
The expanded PTFE gasket itself is an ideal choice under flange conditions due to its relatively stable size and good compliance. It can not only conform to rough surfaces, but also be compressed into tight gaskets, making the seal tighter and more durable.
4、 Graphite filled PTFE gasketZhejiang Wenzhou Blue Low Temperature PTFE Pad
Also known as graphite modified PTFE gasket or black PTFE gasket, it is made by adding a certain amount of filler such as glass fiber, bronze powder, molybdenum disulfide, graphite, carbon fiber, etc. to PTFE resin, mixing them evenly at high speed, molding them, and then sintering them at high temperature. It has excellent compressibility, recoverability, and sealing properties. Its properties and advanced characteristics demonstrate sealing and torque retention. In terms of cold flow and material creep characteristics, it overcomes the shortcomings of traditional PTFE, and at the same time, it can better maintain bolt load than traditional PTFE, which not only improves the durability of the seal but also reduces flange maintenance. Advantages of graphite filled PTFE gaskets: low friction coefficient, good compression strength, and improved wear resistance; This greatly surpasses the use of traditional PTFE, improving the environment and saving costs.
