1、 Application and product characteristics of compressed air muffler
Compressed air muffler is a specialized equipment that obstructs sound propagation and allows airflow to pass through, preventing aerodynamic noise. Currently, in order to control the environmental noise caused by high-pressure airflow emissions, there are various types of mufflers in the world, most of which use impedance composite noise reduction principles. However, due to the complex structure, large weight, high-temperature oxidation sound-absorbing fillers, high-speed airflow impact sound-absorbing fillers, and water vapor infiltration sound-absorbing fillers, frequent maintenance, poor sound-absorbing effect, and short service life of mufflers are caused. It has always been a difficult point in the design of mufflers, but our company's mufflers have overcome their shortcomings and designed them based on reasonable noise reduction principles. Compressed air mufflers are mainly used for effective noise reduction of high-temperature and high-pressure steam emissions from PCV valves and exhaust valves in industries such as power, chemical, and metallurgy.
For the boiler exhaust valve, it can be seen as a component of the pipeline. After acoustic treatment inside, it can reduce the generation and propagation of noise, making the outlet noise reduction reach 20-30 decibels (A-level), and correspondingly reducing the loudness by more than 60%. Subjectively, it has a significant effect. When designing a valve exhaust muffler, the following three aspects should be considered:
1. After noise reduction, excessive noise should be avoided, and the amount of noise reduction should meet the requirements of the "Industrial Enterprise Noise Hygiene Standards".
2. Mufflers should be rust proof, anti blocking, resistant to high temperatures, high pressures, and high airflow.
3. The emission rate and blockage ratio of the muffler should be suitable for the smooth elimination of valve exhaust airflow.
2、 Principle of Compressed Air Muffler
The new type of compressed air muffler adopts the principle of through hole spraying and resistance for noise reduction, in which large hole expansion and flow control are used instead of micro hole plate type. In terms of structure, the principle of smooth exhaust is first ensured, and multi-level perforated sound absorption is combined with the principle of resistance noise reduction, allowing steam sound waves to enter countless small holes in the porous sound absorbing material, exciting the molecular vibration of the porous material, and turning the sound energy into heat energy to overcome frictional resistance and viscous force, thus achieving the ideal noise reduction effect and ensuring the smooth elimination of steam.
3、 Selection and ordering of compressed air mufflers
When ordering a muffler, the following information must be provided:
(1) What is the exhaust volume of the valve (T/h), the starting pressure, and the temperature.
(2) Outer diameter and wall thickness of exhaust pipe;
(3) The structure can be selected as small hole type or anti spray composite type. General users choose composite mufflers with good noise reduction effect, made of stainless steel inside and carbon steel shell material; Welding or flange docking can be selected for takeover; Legs can be designed with leg or ear structures.
4、 Specification and model
Compressed air muffler (composite type, suitable for temperatures up to 300 degrees and pressures up to 6.4Mpa)
TA type exhaust muffler, TA refers to a composite muffler with a sound blocking cover, filled with silencing cotton. Gas enters from the bottom and is discharged from the top. Due to the presence of sound-absorbing cotton filling, it is suitable for pressures up to 6.4 Mpa, otherwise the filling will be blown out, and the shell made of carbon steel is suitable for pressures up to 300 degrees.
TA-1.6-10000/57 model meaning: TA represents a composite exhaust muffler, 57 represents an interface outer diameter of 57mm, and 1000 represents an exhaust volume of 1000M3/H.
