Classification temperature and operating temperature of refractory fibers
Refractory fibers will quickly damage when used at high temperatures (beyond their operating temperature), but they can be used for a long time within their allowable operating temperature range. There is currently no strict definition or standard for the long-term use temperature and time of refractory fibers. But one thing is certain, the crystallization and crystal development of refractory fibers are slow at the allowed long-term use temperature. Considering the influence of furnace atmosphere, the classification temperature and usage temperature regulations for refractory fibers in foreign countries are shown in the table below.

In the classification temperature and usage temperature of refractory fibers, it should be noted that in furnaces with oxidizing atmosphere, the usage temperature of refractory fibers should be 100-150 ℃ lower than the classification temperature. In furnaces with reducing atmosphere, the use temperature of refractory fibers is lower than the classification temperature200-250℃. In a vacuum atmosphere furnace, the operating temperature of refractory fibers is lower than the classification temperature400-450℃。
