However, if you check carefully, you will find the cause of material throwing, and it is not difficult to solve. Generally, we can check it conveniently from the following aspects.

If the flow rate of the feed pump is too high and exceeds the adaptive range of the filter press processing capacity, there may be material leakage. In this case, simply adjust the valve of the feed pump, install a reflux tank, and open the reflux valve to easily solve the problem.

If the flow rate of the feed pump is too high, exceeding the maximum processing capacity and adaptability range of the filter press, material throwing will occur. At this time, we only need to adjust the valve of the feed pump, install a reflux tank, and open the reflux valve to easily solve the problem.

If the pressure of the feed is too high, although the pressure filter presses out the moisture content of the sludge to a higher degree, there will also be back pressure of different degrees, which can cause material throwing. Therefore, in sludge treatment, it is necessary to control the pressure of the feed within the standard range.

3. If there are impurities on the cover of the filter plate, it will affect the pressure filtration effect. Therefore, before each sludge treatment, we must check the cleanliness of the filter plate and keep the sealing surface clean and tidy.

If the arrangement of the filter plates is not neat and the misalignment exceeds 5mm, the filter press will experience material throwing during operation.

5. If the filter cloth is not flat, it will cause the filter plate to be loose. Therefore, when running the material, we need to check whether the filter cloth has wrinkles and unevenness. If there are, it should be leveled immediately, otherwise the material will be thrown.

6. Insufficient clamping force: When using a filter press, attention should be paid to the appropriate pressure strength of the filter plate. Insufficient pressure can also cause the filter press to run out of material. If the clamping force is low, slowly adjust the pressure to the appropriate range, but it should not be too high. If it exceeds the rated pressure, it will cause excessive load on the filter press.

7. If the pressure is insufficient during the operation of the filter press, there may also be material throwing. If the pressure is too low, immediately adjust the pressure slowly to the appropriate range, but do not go too far. If the pressure exceeds the calibration range, the load on the filter press will be too high.
