A Brief Discussion on the Construction of Shallow Air Floatation Machine

Shallow air flotation machine structure
Shallow air flotation machine is suitable for the treatment of papermaking wastewater, fiber recovery, printing and dyeing wastewater, electroplating wastewater containing various heavy metal ions, oily wastewater, tannery wastewater, chemical wastewater, paint wastewater, food wastewater, algae containing surface water treatment, and solid-liquid separation of other types of wastewater. The composition of shallow air flotation machine generally includes the following parts:
(1) Dissolved air flotation system
The air flotation system integrates water intake, flocculation, separation, water collection, and effluent. Similar to traditional air flotation equipment, it is equipped with a stable flow chamber and a dissolved air release chamber, which makes the treatment performance more stable and the effect more efficient. It is particularly suitable for the transformation of traditional equipment.
Stable chamber: The raw water reacted through folded plates has a high flow rate. If it comes into direct contact with dissolved air water, it will dissipate small bubbles, affecting the adhesion of bubbles to flocs and reducing the efficiency of air flotation treatment. If a stable flow chamber is added, the kinetic energy of turbulent raw water will be consumed and enter the dissolved air water release chamber at a uniform speed, effectively ensuring the removal effect.
Dissolved gas release chamber: The dissolved gas release chamber and the separation chamber are located in the same tank. Separated in the middle, the dissolved air water and the flocculated raw water adhere here, slowly rise, and enter the air flotation separation chamber, ensuring the contact space and time between the floc and the small bubbles, resulting in a higher release rate of dissolved air water
(2) Dissolved gas system
For shallow air flotation equipment, the dissolved air system is the main component. At this stage, gas and water are sucked in together at the inlet of the pump, and mixed into dissolved air and water in the dissolved air tank through impeller shear and pressure. The gas-liquid phase is fully mixed and reaches saturation. The maximum gas content of the entire dissolved air system is about 10%, which makes the distribution of microbubbles during gas dispersion uniform, with an average bubble diameter of less than 30um. This dissolved air system is an improvement and technological innovation of traditional air flotation, which improves the separation efficiency of air flotation and greatly reduces the production and operating costs of the equipment.
(3) Scraper machine
The operation mode and speed of the scraper directly affect the water quality of the air flotation effluent and the solid content of the sludge. The system adopts a rotary scraper, which can continuously and uniformly scrape the floating slag into the floating slag tank, reducing the phenomenon of collision between floating slag; In addition, the height adjustable scraper can better adapt to various operating conditions and reduce the moisture content of sludge.
(4) Control system
The control system uses electrical components to ensure the effective operation of the equipment.
Operation method of shallow air flotation machine
The new shallow air flotation machine can finally be turned on and put into use. However, as the management and operation personnel of the equipment, users, please don't rush and carefully read these instructions to accurately operate the shallow air flotation machine.
1. When starting the shallow air flotation machine, first turn on the high-pressure pump, fully open the inlet valve and outlet valve, wait for the high-pressure pump to operate normally, slowly close the outlet valve, and observe the pressure gauge at any time to adjust the pressure to between 0.35-0.45 MPa. After multiple runs of the shallow air flotation machine, there is no need to adjust the inlet and outlet valves, just turn on the high-pressure pump.
2. After the high-pressure pump is turned on, it must operate normally for 5 minutes. Only when milky white liquid appears in the air flotation tank, can the sewage pump be turned on. At the same time, the dosing pumps for polyaluminum chloride and polyacrylamide should be turned on. The opening degree of the dosing valve should be adjusted according to experience, and a clear and transparent effluent is preferred. Turn on the motor switch of the mechanical filtration tank again, and the clean water treated by the shallow air flotation machine passes through the filter layer inside the filtration tank. The treated clean water enters the clean water tank.
3. When the sludge layer in the shallow air flotation tank reaches its thickness, turn on the motor of the scraper plate.
4. Adjust the water outlet plate and the water level in the air flotation tank to ensure that the floating slag can be smoothly scraped by the scraper plate and discharged into the mud collection tank.
5. After the effluent meets the requirements, ensure the supply of drugs.
