Maintenance and precautions for flame detectors
1. The flame detector has a 10 second reset time when powered on, during which it does not respond to any fire alarm signals; Wait for the power indicator light to turn green before it can work normally; When a fire alarm occurs, the indicator light turns red.
2. When the flame detector is connected to the system, its testing work should be completed in advance: place the flame within the effective viewing angle range of the flame detector, continuously and rapidly shake or stir the flame, make the flame flash continuously, and observe its alarm function and detection distance.
3. Regularly check whether the glass surface of the flame detector window is clean and wipe it regularly. Unclean window glass of the flame detector can affect its sensitivity, and in severe cases, it may cause the flame detector to not sound an alarm in case of a fire.
4. It is strictly prohibited to open the lid while the flame detector is energized; Before cleaning, please temporarily stop the flame detector from working and cut off the logic control function of the area or system that will be maintained to avoid inactive alarm linkage.
5. It is prohibited to use non regulated power sources for flame detectors to avoid damaging them.
6. The wiring of the flame detector must be reliable and error free; The shielding wire mesh of the flame detector should be connected to the shell, and the grounding should be firm.
7. Users are not allowed to disassemble the flame detector at will to avoid unnecessary losses.
