Place a mirror surface in the moist air of the sample to cool down until dew droplets (or ice crystals) appear on the mirror surface, and measure the average temperature of the mirror surface, which is the dew (frost) point temperature. When using, the pipeline that inhales the sample air must be kept clean, otherwise impurities in the pipeline will absorb or release moisture, causing measurement errors. There are several precautions for the daily maintenance and use of dew point meters, as follows:

1. The measuring instrument should be placed in a safe location to prevent damage from falling. Avoid severe vibrations.

2. Do not test for corrosive gases.

3. The probe should be cleaned and calibrated after a certain period of use, with a calibration interval of one year. When verification is required, communicate with the manufacturer.

4. When adjusting the gas flow rate, the control needle valve should be slowly opened to indicate a flow rate of 0.5-0.6 liters per minute. If the flow rate exceeds 1 liter/minute and the LCD displays a message that the flow rate has exceeded the limit, the flow rate should be reduced to the specified value. Excessive traffic will damage the electronic flow sensor.

5. After using the dew point meter for a day (using batteries), it should be charged in a timely manner. When charging, simply connect the power cord to a 220V socket without turning on the power switch. The instrument will automatically charge, and the charging time is generally more than 5 hours.
