Product characteristics and advantages of new hexagonal inner edge ring packing

In recent years, the application of ceramic plastic fillers in desulfurization towers in the coking industry has become increasingly common, and more and more coking units are replacing ceramic fillers with plastic fillers. Hexagonal inner edge ring packing is a new type of plastic regular packing developed by our headquarters technical team, specifically designed for coking desulfurization equipment, which improves the structure of traditional packing. Due to the frequent issues of blockages and difficult maintenance in traditional coking equipment, our company has specially designed and developed a new type of product suitable for desulfurization towers for coking customers, namely hexagonal inner edge ring packing, which optimizes the performance of traditional packing.

Product features and advantages:

1. Optimized the diamond shaped unit structure, making the gas-liquid flow channel more unobstructed, with more complete contact, reducing pressure drop, and thus improving processing capacity;

2. Compared with the previous light ceramic fillers and plastic connecting rings, the triangular connecting ribs have been eliminated while ensuring that the specific surface area of the fillers remains basically unchanged. By optimizing the filler cells, the efficiency of the fillers is ensured and the resistance of the fillers is reduced;

3. The six protruding triangular legs designed can isolate the upper and lower layers of packing at a certain distance from each other, increasing the free area of gas-liquid phase and the space for gas-liquid distribution from the surface, effectively improving the continuous updating of gas-liquid mass transfer contact interface and enhancing mass transfer efficiency;

4. The installation of adjacent layers of packing with a rotation cross of 30 degrees can not only avoid short circuits in gas-liquid phase flow, but also facilitate continuous mixing and contact separation of gas-liquid, promote continuous renewal of mass transfer surfaces, and thus improve mass transfer efficiency;

5. The optimized diamond shaped cell structure enables the hexagonal inner edge ring packing to have lower pressure drop and stronger anti clogging ability.
