  Hosted jointly by the Global Green Energy Council, Asia-Pacific New Energy Industry Association, Chinese Society for Renewable Energy, Shanghai Federation of Economic Organizations, Shanghai Science and Technology Exchange Center and Shanghai New Energy Industry Association, "SNEC ES+ The 13th (2026) International Energy Storage and Battery (Shanghai) Congress & Exhibition" (referred to as "SNEC ES+ EXPO") will be grandly held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center, China, from October 8 to 10, 2026.
 
  With carbon peaking and carbon neutrality becoming a global consensus, China has proposed building a new generation of power systems dominated by new energy, and the proportion of new energy in the entire energy system will increase rapidly. As a key supporting technology for this energy revolution, energy storage is poised to experience explosive growth. National and provincial energy authorities have intensively issued a series of favorable policies for energy storage. Large-scale domestic and foreign energy storage projects have been launched one after another, and energy storage technologies are presenting a "hundred schools of thought contending" situation, including pumped storage, lithium-ion batteries, compressed air energy storage, sodium-ion batteries, flow batteries, flywheel energy storage, etc. At the same time, more and more enterprises are engaging in the energy storage industry, either expanding production or carrying out cross-border cooperation, presenting a sound and vigorous development situation for the energy storage industry.
