Product Overview
The Det-5000 THg Cold Atomic Absorption Heavy Metal Water Quality Online Analyzer is based on the "HJ 597-2011" national standard cold atomic absorption method. The mercury containing compounds in the water sample are reduced to elemental mercury by stannous chloride, and then elemental mercury in the water sample is blown off into mercury vapor by a carrier gas. The selective absorption of mercury atomic vapor is measured using a mercury lamp to calculate the THg content in the water sample.
The process of converting liquid-phase mercury into gas-phase mercury separates most non-volatile substances in water samples from mercury. At the same time, using a mercury lamp as the measurement light source greatly reduces interference during water sample measurement, thereby improving measurement accuracy.
The MDet-5000 THg cold atomic absorption heavy metal water quality online analyzer is widely used for total mercury monitoring in industrial production processes (such as electroplating, pharmaceuticals, chemical synthesis, etc.).
