ANGLE Advanced Gamma Spectroscopy Measurement Efficiency Calibration Software

ANGLEIt is an advanced efficiency computing application based on the concept of efficiency transfer, suitable for high-purity germanium and detectors. This method combines the measurement efficiency of known reference configurations and solid angle models to obtain the efficiency of different containers, sample materials, and sample positions. This semi empirical method is more accurate than pure mathematical models, as larger errors that may arise from unknown detector features such as crystal defects, contact level thickness, and dead layers may be offset in the reference efficiency measurement. In addition, as the reference efficiency can be determined from any standard source, the detector does not require complex and expensive factory calibration.
