　　Basic Principles

In an ideal state, inject gas into a closed container and maintain a constant pressure inside the container. At this time, the injected gas flow rate is equal to the leakage rate of the closed container.

　　Detection principle of air duct leakage detection equipment

Connect the air outlet of the air leakage tester fan to the tested air duct, fan, fire damper, and air conditioning ventilation system with a hose. Except for the hose connection with the testing device and the pressure measuring pipe leading out from above, all other interfaces of this section of air duct should be blocked. When the air leakage detector is started and the fan speed is gradually increased, air is injected into the duct through a hose, and the pressure inside the duct will gradually increase. When the air duct reaches the required pressure for testing, the fan speed of the detector is automatically adjusted to maintain a constant pressure inside the duct. At this point, the measured air volume at the inlet of the fan is the air leakage of the tested air duct at that pressure.
