3、 Structure

The L-shaped pitot tube is made by connecting two stainless steel pipes of different diameters in a concentric manner. The inner pipe is a fully pressurized pipe with a straight end at the tail end, and the outer pipe is a static pressure pipe with a side joint. The direction of the pointing rod and the head of the measuring rod should be consistent, and the direction can be determined during use to align the measuring head with the direction of the incoming flow.
The S-shaped pitot tube is welded with two pipes of the same diameter, with the full pressure end facing the airflow and the static pressure end facing away from the airflow. The coefficient number and static pressure joint marking number are marked at the joint, and cannot be connected incorrectly during use. The side pointing rod is in the same direction as the measuring head, and the direction can be determined during use to ensure that the measuring head is aligned with the incoming flow direction.

4、 Usage:
1.To select the measurement point section correctly, ensure that the measurement point is located in a straight pipe section with smooth airflow. For this purpose, local components such as elbows, valves, and variable diameter pipes that measure the distance between the cross-section and the incoming flow direction should be greater than 4 times the diameter of the pipeline. Local bends and variable diameter structures in the downstream direction should be greater than twice the diameter of the pipeline.
2.The principle for selecting the diameter specification for Pitot tube measurement is to compare it with the diameter of the measured pipeline, not exceeding 0.02, to avoid interference and increase errors. Do not place the pitot tube near the tube wall during measurement. When measuring the L-type standard pitot tube, the full pressure hole should be aligned with the direction of the airflow to indicate the direction of the rod, and the static pressure should be in the vertical direction of the airflow. The insertion hole of the measuring point should avoid air leakage, which can prevent airflow interference on the section. Using a pitot tube can only measure the flow velocity at a certain point on the pipeline section, but when calculating the flow rate, the average flow velocity should be used. Due to the uneven distribution of flow rate on the section, more points should be measured on the section to obtain the average value. The measuring points are divided according to the regulations of the flue (pipeline) measurement method, using the "logarithmic linear" method, or can be divided according to the commonly used equal area method.
3.Each pitot tube static pressure joint is marked with a tag number. The calibration coefficient and identification sheet should be kept for a long time for calculation.
4.Equipped with digital pressure gauge, intelligent pressure anemometer or intelligent pressure air flow meter. It can directly read wind pressure, wind speed, and air volume.

5、 Maintenance:
1.

2.After use in dusty pipelines, there may be dust or water vapor accumulation inside the pipes. After use, the box should be blown clean by blowing air. Or test the smoothness before use. Clean the inner and outer tubes promptly after use to ensure long-term good condition.
3.Regularly check the small static pressure hole to prevent impurities from blocking the hole and causing pressure blockage.
