The Atmospheric Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) Online Analyzer (H2O2-WLPAP) is a fluorescence based method that detects peroxides through liquid-phase reactions between peroxides and hydroxyl groups catalyzed by peroxidase. This reaction produces fluorescent dimers that can be excited at 326 nm (Cd lamp) and detected between 400 nm and 420 nm. This technology is sensitive to all peroxides in the solution. In one channel of the instrument (channel B), H2O2 is selectively detected by catalase before being destroyed for fluorescence detection in the instrument. The quantity is then determined by subtracting the total peroxide signal without H2O2 (channel B) from the H2O2 total peroxide signal (channel A) based on the difference between the signals from the two channels, which corrects for the degradation efficiency of the catalase solution.

Atmospheric hydrogen peroxide analyzerThe application fields are very extensive, mainly including the following aspects:
Environmental monitoring: It can be used to monitor the concentration of hydrogen peroxide in the atmosphere in real time. This is of great significance for evaluating air quality, understanding atmospheric chemical processes, and predicting pollution trends.
Climate and Environmental Research: By continuously monitoring changes in the concentration of hydrogen peroxide in the atmosphere, researchers can better understand its role in climate change, photochemical reactions, and atmospheric oxidation.
Industrial emission control: Some industrial processes may produce hydrogen peroxide, therefore, the use of online analyzers can monitor and control hydrogen peroxide emissions in these processes in real time to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Air quality warning system: Combined with other pollutant monitoring equipment, the atmospheric hydrogen peroxide online analyzer can provide data support for the air quality warning system, helping the public and relevant departments to take timely protective measures.
Laboratory research: In the laboratory, this analyzer can be used to study the generation, transformation, and degradation mechanisms of hydrogen peroxide in the atmosphere, as well as its interactions with other pollutants.
Other fields: In addition, the online analyzer for atmospheric hydrogen peroxide can also be applied in other fields such as public health, ecology, and agricultural science, providing strong support for related research and applications.
