The Yuanyi pulsation damper can smooth out the pipeline pulsation and water hammer phenomenon caused by displacement pumps such as plunger pumps and diaphragm pumps. It is isolated from the liquid in the pipeline by a corrosion-resistant diaphragm, and the pipeline pulsation is smoothed by changes in the volume of the gas chamber.

Main functions of carbon steel diaphragm pulse damper

1. Reduce the harm of water hammer to the system.

2. Reduce the peak value of flow velocity fluctuations.

3. Protect pipelines, elbows, and joints from the impact of pressure fluctuations.

4. Create a favorable working environment for metering pumps and improve their performance.

5. Allow the system to use smaller pipe diameters to reduce costs.

6. When used in conjunction with back pressure valves, it can make the pressure fluctuations in the pipeline close to zero.

7. Reduce the energy consumption of the system.

The membrane type pulse damper is divided into upper and lower shells, separated by a composite membrane of polytetrafluoroethylene and rubber in the middle, which is commonly usedThe pulse damper. The greater advantage is that the diaphragm separates the pre filled gas from the liquid in the pipeline, making maintenance easier. Under appropriate selection and pressure conditions, it can reduce the majority of pulses. The membrane type pulse damper produced by our company has a higher pressure resistance of 1.0MPa for PVC material, 2.5MPa for stainless steel material, and a higher pressure resistance of 10MPa.

Volume selection method: Multiply the volume of each stroke (milliliters) by 10 to obtain the minimum volume that can reduce 90% of the pulse.
