Product Details

Structure and requirements of cast iron copper inlaid gate:

Overall structural requirements: The gate consists of a continuous frame, lifting shaft (gate rod), gate plate, lifting ear, and dual-purpose flashlight/Composed of manual opening and closing machine, assembled cast iron parts, etc. The gate should have sufficient strength to ensure that it will not bend or deform under any conditions such as storage, transportation, and operation. All joint parts and sliding surfaces should be machined surfaces. For sealing, the gate should be equipped with copper sealing rings.

Gate frame and gate seat:

MaterialHT250 GB9439-88The gate frame should be mechanically processed for bolted connection with the gate seat or embedded parts. The two sides of the gate frame should extend upwards. When the gate is in the fully open position, at least half of the support of the gate is contained within the gate frame, which should be cast as a whole. Under high working head, the safety factors of its tensile, compressive, and shear strength should not be less than5The thickness of the gate frame should be increased in the calculated thickness2mmThere is a corrosion allowance of, and there is a processed concave groove in the gate frame. A copper sealing seat surface is embedded in the groove and connected to the gate frame with countersunk screws made of the same material as the sealing seat surface. This sealing seat surface should be processed to ≤3.2MmThe surface roughness of the gate frame should also be processed on the back of the gate frame so that it can be directly bolted to the machined surface of the embedded wall frame. The joint surface between the gate frame and the wall frame should be filled with adhesive during installation.

Gate plate, guide rail, lifting lug

All materials areHT250 GB9439-88The gate is a solid casting structure, rectangular, with horizontal and vertical reinforcement ribs cast as a whole. The reinforcement ribs provide sufficient rigidity to the gate. The gate should be designed for large working heads, and its safety factors for tensile, compressive, and shear strength should not be less than5The deflection is not greater than the length of the component1/1500The thickness of the gate should be increased in the calculated thickness2mmThere should be a processed concave groove at the sliding surface of the gate plate, with a copper sealing seat embedded in the groove, and connected to the gate plate with countersunk screws made of the same material as the sealing seat surface. This sealing seat surface should be processed to be less than or equal to3.2MmThe surface roughness of the gate should be machined into a stepped structure at each sliding surface along the entire length of the gate, and this stepped structure should maintain a distance of less than or equal to the gate guide groove5mmThe gap between the two sides and the upper and lower sides of the gate should be firmly connected to the gate or cast as a whole wedge block, which should be processed to be combined with the adjustable wedge block on the gate frame. The vertical centerline of the gate above the gate should be fixed or cast as a whole with lifting ears, which have holes or nuts processed into square cast copper nuts for connection with the gate rod and the hoist.

The gate guide rail will bear the entire horizontal and clamping pressure, so the guide rail should be designed for high working head, and its safety factors for tensile, compressive, and shear strength should not be less than5The entire contact surface of the guide rail should be machined, and the groove surface embedded in the guide rail should also be machined. The allowable gap between the gate side and the guide rail is less than or equal to3mmTo prevent relative movement between the guide rail and the gate frame, the guide rail should be connected to the gate frame with stainless steel countersunk screws or cast as a whole with the gate plate. When the gate is fully opened, the guide rail should still have at least half of the length to maintain and support the gate plate

The bottom of the gate frame should have an adjustable top block to prevent excessive clamping between the gate and the frame, and the adjustable screws for the stop gate should be installed on this top block.

Pre embedded wall frame:

The wall frame used for gate installation should be completed by the gate manufacturer. The embedded depth of the wall frame should be equal to the thickness of the concrete at the installation site. The end face of the wall frame should be processed into a flat surface and drilled and tapped correctly according to the requirements for installing double headed bolts. There should be a water stop plate around the outer edge of the wall frame. During installation, the joint surface between the wall frame and the gate seat (gate frame) should be filled with adhesive.

Installation instructions for cast iron inlaid copper gate:

The upper and lower frames of the gate are equipped with fixing blocks to prevent the gate from slipping out during transportation, lifting, and other processes. After installation and solidification (before use), the fixing blocks of the upper gate frame and the tightening bolts of the lower frame should be removed before starting.

The installation of the gate adopts integral installation, and the gap between the gate and the sealing surface of the gate frame is adjusted to0.3mmAfterwards, the second phase of pouring shall be carried out. During the pouring of concrete, it is necessary to ensure that the gate frame is in a vertical state, and the mortar flowing into the gaps between the gate, gate frame, wedge iron, and baffle must be removed to prevent the mortar from solidifying and affecting the opening and closing of the gate.

When opening and closing the gate, attention should be paid to the upper and lower limit positions of the gate to avoid damaging the gate or the hoist. During the opening and closing process of the gate, check whether there is any obstruction in the lifting and lowering of the gate

The gate and gate frame are paired together and should not be interchanged during transportation and installation in multiple groups.

Cast iron copper inlaid gate(Lift plate gate)1Performance requirements The large pressure exerted by the gate on the door frame is0.1MPa. The high pressure caused by detachment from the door frame0.02MPa. The leakage amount is not greater than1.25L/min.m. Opening and closing time5~10min. Installation typeWall mounted, flange type
