Characteristics of complete fire water supply equipment
1. The equipment is linked with the fire control center, automatically entering the fire protection state in case of a fire alarm, and equipped with a linkage feedback interface.
2. The starting of fire pumps can be achieved through various methods such as direct power frequency starting, self coupling voltage reduction starting, Y-△ voltage reduction starting, thyristor soft start control, and variable frequency constant pressure control to meet different usage requirements.
3. The complete set of fire water supply equipment has fault alarm and protection functions such as overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, short circuit, phase loss, and water source shortage.
4. The main and backup fire pumps have a mutual backup function, and the backup pump will automatically start working when the main pump fails.
5. The complete set of fire water supply equipment can be equipped with dual power switching function according to user needs, or separately equipped with a dual power switching cabinet. The main and backup power supplies can be automatically or manually switched. When the main power supply is cut off, the backup power supply will be automatically put into operation, and when the main power supply is restored, the backup power supply will be automatically withdrawn.
6. According to user requirements, it can be equipped with power frequency automatic inspection function or low-frequency automatic inspection function. During inspection, the main pump is started and operated one by one. If there is a fault, the pump will stop and give an alarm to avoid bearing corrosion, motor moisture, impeller jamming and other faults caused by long-term non operation of the fire pump, ensuring that the equipment is in good condition. During the inspection process, receiving a fire signal automatically exits the inspection state and enters the fire operation state. Automatically open the valve to release water during power frequency inspection to ensure that the fire protection pipeline network does not exceed the pressure.
7. The complete set of fire water supply equipment can also be equipped with a Building Automatic Control (BA) interface, which can be connected to the terminal computer for remote monitoring.
Key points for construction and installation of complete fire water supply equipment:
1) The pressure tank of the complete fire water supply equipment should meet the design requirements in terms of volume, pressure, water level, and working pressure.
2) The installation of safety valves, pressure gauges, drain pipes, water level indicators, etc. on the complete set of fire water supply equipment should comply with the requirements of the product manual.
3) The installation position of the complete set of fire water supply equipment, as well as the direction of the inlet and outlet pipes, should meet the design requirements; During installation, maintenance channels should be set up around it, with a width of not less than 0.7m. The distance from the top of the fire pressure water supply equipment to the bottom of the floor or beam should not be less than 1.0m.
4) The equipment must be unpacked and counted upon arrival at the site. Installation in place requires leveling and grouting. The pipeline connection and electrical control wiring must be checked against the drawings to ensure accuracy.
5) After the installation of the complete set of fire water supply equipment, it is necessary to debug and test run the equipment. Including the start stop control of the water pump, the opening and closing of various valves, as well as the trial operation after equipment cleaning and water filling.
