User Manual for High Temperature Oven
1. The high-temperature oven must be installed in a relatively dry area and in a horizontal position to avoid vibration and corrosion problems.
2. When using electricity, safety precautions must be taken, and the power switch of the equipment must be selected based on the power consumption of the oven, with a relatively sufficient capacity. Power wires are also essential, and there should be grounding wires for polarity protection.
3. If there is an electric contact mercury thermometer type temperature controller on top of the oven, the two wires of the electric contact thermometer need to be connected separately to the terminal posts on top of the oven. In addition, it is necessary to insert a regular mercury thermometer into the exhaust valve and open the small hole of the exhaust valve. After adjusting the value on the mercury thermometer to the desired position, tighten the screws on the steel cap to maintain a more constant temperature. However, it is important to note that when adjusting, do not let the indicator iron exceed the range of the scale.
4. After all the preparation work is done, you can put the test sample inside. When the power is turned on and the red light is on, it indicates that heating is in progress. If the temperature rises to the required range, the red light will turn off and the green light will turn on, keeping the temperature constant. In order to avoid the malfunction of temperature control, it is also necessary to pay attention to its operation.
5. The samples should not be placed too densely, otherwise it will affect the airflow. In addition, the items inside should not be flammable, explosive, corrosive, or volatile.
6. If you want to know the condition of the samples in the studio, you can open the outer box door and use the glass door to understand the condition of the items. However, the door should not be opened frequently as it can have a certain impact on the temperature control. The advantage is that when the temperature exceeds 200 degrees, opening the door may cause the glass door to crack due to sudden cooling.
