Every year, nearly 21000 Americans die because of radon pollution, which is six times more than the combined number of fire deaths and carbon monoxide deaths. Every household in the United States has some degree of radon pollution, and differences in weather, ventilation, season, and other factors can alter radon levels.
At present, the common equipment used for detecting radon gas is activated carbon canister, but activated carbon canister can only be used for short-term detection (a few days) and must be sent to the laboratory for analysis. This method is not only troublesome, but the radon content inside the carbon canister will also change over time. The emergence of Airthings has solved the existing dilemma. This device utilizes digital sensors and smart home technology to provide long-term detection services while also displaying real-time radon levels.
Corentium allows you to easily obtain radon concentration and calculate the average radon content for daily, weekly, or longer periods of time. Powered by three standard AAA batteries, it has strong portability and is suitable for testing in different places such as homes, laboratories, offices, schools, kindergartens, etc. It can eliminate hidden dangers in a timely manner and reduce radon concentration.
