Household waste is transported to the household waste sorting line, where it is efficiently sorted by mechanical processes such as fabric, sorting, magnetic separation, selection, drum sorting, air sorting, and impurity removal. It is then classified into four categories and processed according to the characteristics of each material.

Among them, one type is recyclable materials (metals and high-quality plastics) that can be directly recycled for high-value use. The second type is organic biomass (mainly kitchen waste), which can be anaerobically fermented to obtain bio natural gas. The third type is combustible materials (fabrics, paper and plastic, bamboo and wood), which can be used as fuel. The fourth category is inorganic substances (such as soil, sand, and glass), which can be used for building materials or harmless landfill.
