working principle

The airflow crusher, cyclone separator, dust collector, and induced draft fan form a complete crushing system. After being filtered and dried, compressed air is sprayed into the crushing chamber at high speed through a Laval nozzle. At the intersection of multiple high-pressure airflows, the material is repeatedly collided, rubbed, and sheared to be crushed. The crushed material moves to the classification zone with the upward airflow under the suction force of the fan. Under the strong centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotating classification turbine, the coarse and fine materials are separated. The fine particles that meet the particle size requirements are collected by the cyclone separator and dust collector through the classification wheel, and the coarse particles continue to be crushed in the crushing zone. There are several types of airflow grinders used in China's industry, including flat airflow grinders, fluidized bed jet airflow grinders, circulating tube airflow grinders, jet airflow grinders, and target airflow grinders. Among these types of airflow crushers, flat airflow mills, fluidized bed jet airflow mills, and circulating tube airflow mills are widely used.

Jet air mill

After entering the crushing chamber through the spiral feeder, the material is crushed by several relatively arranged nozzles that spray out high-speed airflow impact energy, as well as collision and friction generated by the rapid expansion of the airflow into a fluidized bed suspension boiling. The coarse and fine mixed powder is driven by negative pressure airflow through a turbine classification device installed at the top. The fine powder is forced to pass through the classification device and is captured by a cyclone collector and a bag filter. The coarse powder is thrown towards the four walls by gravity and the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotating classification device, and then settles back into the crushing chamber for further crushing.

Flat airflow mill

As a high-pressure airflow for crushing kinetic energy, it enters the stabilizing gas storage bag outside the crushing chamber as an airflow distribution station. The airflow is accelerated into a supersonic airflow through the Laval nozzle and enters the crushing and grinding chamber. At the same time, the material is accelerated into the crushing and grinding chamber through the Venturi nozzle for synchronous crushing. Due to the installation of the Laval nozzle at an acute angle with the crushing chamber, the high-speed jet carries the animal material in a circular motion inside the crushing chamber, causing mutual impact, collision, and friction between particles and between particles and the fixed target plate wall, resulting in crushing. Fine particles are introduced into the central outlet pipe of the crusher under the drive of centripetal airflow and collected in the cyclone separator. Coarse powder is thrown towards the peripheral wall of the crushing chamber for cyclic motion and continues to be crushed under the action of centrifugal force.

Circulating tube airflow mill

The raw materials are added to the crushing chamber through a Venturi nozzle, and high-pressure airflow is sprayed into a track shaped circulating tube type crushing chamber with varying diameters and curvatures through a set of nozzles, accelerating the particles to collide, collide, and rub against each other for crushing. At the same time, the swirling flow also drives the crushed particles to enter the classification zone upwards along the pipeline. Under the action of the centrifugal force field in the classification zone, the dense material flow is diverted, and the fine particles are discharged after being classified by the louvered inertial classifier in the inner layer. Coarse particles return along the downward tube in the outer layer to continue circulating and crushing.

Fluidized bed airflow mill

Airflow pulverizer (fluidized bed type airflow pulverizer) is a device that accelerates compressed air into a supersonic airflow through a Laval nozzle and injects it into the pulverization zone to make the material fluidized (the airflow expands and forms a fluidized bed suspension boiling, colliding with each other), so that each particle has the same motion state. In the crushing zone, accelerated particles collide and crush each other at the intersection of each nozzle. The crushed material is transported to the grading zone by an upward airflow, and fine powder that meets the particle size requirements is screened out by horizontally arranged grading wheels. Coarse powder that does not meet the particle size requirements is returned to the crushing zone for further crushing. Qualified fine powder enters the high-efficiency cyclone separator with the airflow for collection, and the dust containing gas is filtered and purified by the dust collector before being discharged into the atmosphere.
