measuring principle
The sensor emits a beam of ultrasonic pulses into the measured medium. When the ultrasonic waves pass through the medium, the ultrasonic energy is attenuated due to the scattering and absorption of sludge and suspended solids in the medium. The attenuation of ultrasonic waves in the medium is related to the concentration of sludge and suspended solids in the liquid. By measuring the attenuation value of ultrasonic waves, the sludge concentration can be calculated. The instrument measurement results are not affected by vibration, temperature, viscosity, or color of the sludge. Durable stainless steel sensors require almost no maintenance.
