The decay and decomposition of organic matter in household waste will inevitably produce foul odor pollution. The main source of odor pollution comes from the raw garbage entering the factory. During the unloading process of garbage trucks and the stacking of garbage in garbage storage pits, odorous gases are emitted, mainly composed of hydrogen sulfide (H2S), ammonia (NH3), etc.
To control the foul odor generated by the incineration plant, the following measures can be taken:
1) Garbage itself has a foul odor, so it cannot be ruled out that there may be a foul odor along the transportation route. In this regard, enclosed transport vehicles with automatic loading and unloading structures are mainly used to transport garbage, minimizing the overflow of odor as much as possible;
2) After the garbage transport vehicle enters the workshop, the garbage is dumped into the garbage pit through the unloading door. The garbage discharge door is an electric lifting type, controlled by a dedicated person. After the transport vehicle completes the unloading, it is promptly closed to seal the garbage pit.
3) An air curtain is installed at the main entrance of the garbage unloading hall to prevent odor from escaping.
4) The garbage pit is enclosed, and the suction port of the fan is set above the garbage pit, which keeps the garbage pit and the unloading hall in a negative pressure state. This not only effectively controls the escape of odors, but also introduces the odorous gases as combustion air to the incinerator. The odorous gases decompose at high temperatures inside the incinerator, and the odors are removed. To avoid the escape of foul odor, the garbage pit factory building is a closed factory building.
5) Plant a certain number of tall trees around the factory area to reduce the impact.
6) To prevent the pollution of the surrounding environment caused by the foul odor from the garbage pit during the shutdown and maintenance period of the entire plant, the foul odor in the pit is purified by an activated carbon exhaust gas purifier and discharged outdoors. Regularly detect the odor concentration at the outlet of the purifier. When the odor concentration at the outlet reaches the national standard control limit, replace the activated carbon in the purifier in a timely manner. The waste activated carbon will be mixed with household waste and sent to the incinerator for high-temperature incineration treatment.

Deodorization in garbage incineration plants utilizes our company's core water treatment technology to extract deodorizing drugs or disinfectants from tap water and plants.
