The airport physical fence is an air defense safety barrier that isolates the airport flight control area from the outside world. It is usually composed of iron fences or wire mesh and is responsible for ensuring the safety of the flight control area.


Requirements for airport physical enclosure:

1. Clear regulations have been made on the spatial structural indicators of anti climbing facilities such as barbed wire rolling cages or blade gill nets used on the top of fences (walls): if it is a barbed wire rolling cage or blade gill net, its diameter, adjacent center distance, and gap size from the top of the fence (wall) are specified; If it is a barbed wire mesh, the requirements for the center distance between adjacent support columns and the size of the vertical center distance are specified.

2. The requirement that the net height inside and outside the physical boundary should not be less than 2.5m is more clearly stated: for fences (walls) with anti climbing facilities such as barbed wire rolling cages or blade gill nets at the top, 2.5m includes the height of the barbed wire rolling cage or blade gill net; For walls with embedded broken glass or barbed wire mesh structure at the top, the height of 2.5m does not include the height of broken glass or barbed wire mesh at the top. Additionally, it should be noted that the net height inside and outside the enclosure is different from the concept of enclosure height. It does not refer to the height of the enclosure itself, but rather to the height from the highest point within a 3m range on both sides of the enclosure to the top of the enclosure.

3. For the situation where a building forms part of the enclosure, the new version 7003 has made specific provisions for two situations: when the building forms part of the enclosure, and when the internal walls of the building form part of the enclosure.

The main form of enclosure this time is steel mesh enclosure. The height of the outer boundary is 3.78m (including the barbed wire mesh, with a solid height of 3.46m), and the height of the inner boundary is 2.85m (including the barbed wire mesh, with a solid height of 2.53m).

The steel mesh enclosure is mainly composed of barbed wire mesh, columns, mesh sheets, ground beams, frames, and cast-in-place reinforced concrete foundations. The main body of the steel mesh enclosure is composed of columns (rectangular steel pipes, 60mm × 60mm × 2mm) and mesh, which are reinforced with 45mm × 28mm × 5mm angle steel around the perimeter of the steel mesh. The total height of each column in the outer boundary (excluding burial depth length) is 3.46m, and a cross shaped barbed wire rolling net is installed at the top to prevent climbing (diameter 500mm), with a total height above ground of 3.78m. The total height of each column in the inner boundary (excluding burial depth length) is 2.53m, and a barbed wire rolling net is installed at the top to prevent climbing (diameter 500mm), with a total height above ground of 2.85m. A 1m high dense mesh is added to the bottom of the steel mesh in both boundaries, made of Φ 3 impregnated steel wire, with a mesh size of 12.5 × 100mm, and connected to the steel mesh by electric welding to prevent small animals from crawling. The spacing between the columns of the two enclosures is 3.0m, and the cross-sectional size of the ground beam is 24cm × 30cm, using cast-in-place C30 reinforced concrete ground beams. The foundation consists of a 45cm × 45cm × 80cm cast-in-place C30 reinforced concrete base, 10cm thick C15 concrete, and 20cm thick lime soil in sequence from top to bottom. The lime content in the lime soil is not less than 12% (mass ratio), the compaction degree is not less than 95% (heavy compaction), and the soil foundation compaction degree is not less than 93% (heavy compaction). Set up a prominent no crossing warning sign every 150m outside the perimeter, and the content of the sign should be clearly visible.
