Air flotation separation technology refers to the process of air and water dissolving gas into water to a maximum extent under certain pressure conditions, striving to be in a saturated state. Then, the formed pressure dissolved gas water is released through depressurization, generating a large number of fine bubbles that fully contact the suspended flocs in the water, causing the suspended flocs to adhere to the microbubbles and float to the water surface with the bubbles, forming floating debris and scraping it off, thereby purifying water quality. The YXQF series shallow air flotation device developed by our factory is an advanced rapid air flotation system. Based on traditional air flotation theory, it successfully applies the "shallow theory" and "zero velocity" principles. Through careful design, it integrates coagulation, air flotation, skimming, sedimentation, and sludge scraping into one device, which is a water purification treatment equipment.

Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) UnitSuitable for processing water with low turbidity, high chromaticity, high organic content, low oil content, low surface active substance content, or rich algae. Compared to other air flotation methods, it has the advantages of high hydraulic load and compact tank body. However, its complex process, high energy consumption, and loud noise from the air compressor also limit its application.

Dissolved air flotation is mainly used for efficient aeration of air flotation tanks in industrial wastewater treatment processes such as petrochemicals, textiles, food, papermaking, printing and dyeing, brewing, pharmaceuticals, and leather making, as well as urban domestic wastewater treatment processes. According to the actual aeration volume requirements, single or multiple units can be selected, which have the characteristics of large and sufficient aeration volume per unit, no need for air compressor and dissolved gas tank, small and dense bubbles, and low power consumption.

The working principle of air flotation equipment is to form a saturated dissolved gas carrier in a dissolved gas tank with an appropriate amount of air and some reflux water under a certain pressure (0.35~0.45Mpa). After sudden pressure reduction by a release device, a large number of fine bubbles are obtained, which quickly adhere to the flowing particles, emulsified oil, bath and flocs in the water, causing the flocs to have a specific gravity lower than that of water and be forced to suspend on the water surface, thereby achieving solid-liquid separation.

In the process combination of complex and difficult wastewater treatment, air flotation treatment is accompanied by aeration phenomenon, which reduces surface activity and organic concentration, greatly reduces oxygen consumption, promotes further purification of wastewater, and provides favorable water quality for lower level treatment.
