ESDV pneumatic cut-off valve is a safety protection valve installed on liquid ammonia, ammonia, liquefied petroleum gas (gas), liquid and gas pipelines, and used in conjunction with remote gas sources. It uses gas sources to control the opening and closing of the valve, so that in the event of a large amount of leakage or even fire on the pipeline or storage tank, the gas source can be quickly manually depressurized, or when the high temperature is ≥ 75 ℃, the melting alloy will melt, and the cylinder will automatically depressurize.   ESDV valve with AT/AW series pneumatic actuator and pneumatic accessories functions and uses (optional)

1. Double acting actuator: controls the opening and closing of valves.

2. Single acting actuator (spring reset): automatically closes the valve when the circuit or air path is cut off or there is a fault.

3. Single control solenoid valve: The valve opens or closes when powered on, and closes or opens when powered off (explosion-proof type available).

4. Dual control solenoid valve: The valve opens when one coil is energized and closes when the other coil is energized, with memory function (explosion-proof type available).

5. Limit switch feedback device: long-distance transmission of valve opening and closing position signals (explosion-proof type available).

6. Electrical locator: Adjust and control the medium flow rate of the valve based on the magnitude of the current signal (4-20mA) (explosion-proof type is available).

7. Pneumatic locator: Adjust and control the medium flow rate of the valve based on the size of the air pressure signal (standard 0.02-0.1MPa).

8. Electrical converter: converts current signals into air pressure signals and is used in conjunction with pneumatic locators (explosion-proof type available).

9. Triple components for air source treatment: including air pressure reducing valve, filter, oil mist device, stabilizing and cleaning the air source, and lubricating the moving parts.

10. Manual operation: Automatic control can manually operate the opening and closing of valves under abnormal conditions.


  Working principle of ESDV valve

Install a two position three-way solenoid valve at the inlet of the ESDV pneumatic emergency shut-off valve, and control the valve switch using a remote electrical control console.

1. The valve is in a normally open state during daily operation, and the solenoid valve coil is in a power-off state, without consuming electrical energy. In case of emergency, the gas leak alarm will output an alarm signal to the solenoid valve, which will be powered on to exhaust and automatically close

2. Manually control the solenoid valve (press the red clip) to exhaust, and the valve will automatically close

3. After the staff have dealt with the accident, the valve will be manually reopened to restore gas supply.
