FESTO Festo Boost Cylinder**

The gas-liquid booster cylinder is an improved design that combines the advantages of the booster cylinder and the oil cylinder. The hydraulic oil is strictly isolated from the compressed air, and the piston rod inside the cylinder automatically starts when it contacts the working part. The action speed is fast and more stable than pneumatic transmission. The cylinder body device is simple and the output adjustment is easy. Under the same conditions, it can achieve high output of the hydraulic press, with low energy consumption and soft landing without damaging the mold. It is easy to install and the special booster cylinder can be installed at any angle of 360 degrees. It occupies small space, has few faults, no temperature rise problems, long service life, low noise, and other core characteristics.

The booster cylinder can achieve high output of the hydraulic cylinder using general air pressure without the need for a hydraulic unit.

Boosting cylinders can generally be divided into: pre pressure boosting cylinders, direct pressure boosting cylinders, stroke adjustable boosting cylinders, increased return tension boosting cylinders, compact parallel boosting cylinders, mini boosting cylinders, fast boosting cylinders, and oil-gas isolation boosting cylinders.

The working frequency of the booster cylinder generally ranges from 10 to 70 times per minute according to different strokes and cylinder diameters
