Overview

Compared with traditional shaft screw conveyors, shaftless screw conveyors have the following outstanding advantages due to the adoption of a centerless shaft design and the use of a flexible integral steel screw to push materials:

1. The shaftless screw conveyor has strong resistance to entanglement: due to the absence of central axis interference, it has special characteristics for conveying belt shaped, viscous materials, and easily entangled materials. For example, it is used for conveying fine grids in sewage treatment plants, with a net distance of 50mm between the grid bars for cleaning machine slag and filter press mud cake, or for handling and transporting garbage in garbage disposal sites, which can prevent accidents caused by blockage.

2. The shaftless screw conveyor has good environmental performance. The shaftless screw conveyor adopts fully enclosed conveying and easy to clean spiral surface, which can ensure environmental hygiene and prevent the conveyed materials from being contaminated or leaking.

3. The shaftless screw conveyor has high torque and low energy consumption. Due to the fact that the spiral has no shaft, the material is not easily blocked, and the discharge port is not blocked, so it can operate at a lower speed, transmit smoothly, and reduce energy consumption. The torque can reach 4000N. m.

4. The shaftless screw conveyor has a large conveying capacity. The conveying capacity of the shaftless screw conveyor is 1.5 times that of the traditional shaft screw conveyor with the same diameter.

5. The shaftless screw conveyor has a long conveying distance. The single machine conveying length can reach 60 meters. And according to user needs, multi-level series installation can be adopted to transport materials over long distances.
