Below is a brief introduction to the installation process of PP pipes (refer to the implementation of FRPP pipes):

① To ensure the installation quality of PP (polypropylene) pipes, the inner and outer walls of the pipes should be smooth, flat, free of bubbles, cracks, dents, peeling, severe cold spots, and obvious marks.
② Small copper pipe cutting knives are used for pipe cutting, with the blades perpendicular to the outer wall of the pipe. When tightening the knife, it should not be too tight. First, the cutting line should be carved out by rotating it once, and then the cutting depth should be increased with each rotation. When the pipe is about to be cut, the rotation should be slowed down to prevent it from breaking and falling. At the cutting point, the necking part inside the pipe mouth should be removed with a hole expanding cone knife or a round file to eliminate the chamfer inside the pipe.
Special pipe cutters can also be used for cutting: the clamp of the pipe cutter should be adjusted to match the diameter of the pipe being cut, and even force should be applied when rotary cutting. After cutting, the fracture should be rounded with a matching rounding device.
③ The installation of PP pipes can be connected by welding, hot melt, threading, flanges, and other methods. For diameters below 110, hot melt connections are the most reliable. It is easy to operate, has good air tightness, and high interface strength.
Before connecting, wipe the connected fittings and pipe ends clean with cotton yarn to make them dust-free and oil-free, and make insertion marks.
④ When PP pipes are connected to metal fittings, flange connections are generally used;

⑤ Pipe supports should be buried before pipeline installation, and cold and hot water pipe supports should meet the installation spacing requirements.
⑥ The vertical and horizontal bending of horizontal pipelines, the verticality of vertical pipes, and the installation deviation of rows of pipelines and valves must meet the requirements in the following table.
⑦ Requirements for system hydrostatic test:
a、 The test pressure shall be 0.60 times the working pressure, but shall not exceed the allowable pressure of the pipe material.
b、 During the experiment, water should be slowly injected and a water tightness check should be conducted after filling.
c、 It is recommended to slowly increase the pressure to the test pressure using a hand pump, and then stabilize for 1 hour to check for no leakage. A pressure drop of less than 0.05MPa within 30 minutes is considered qualified.
⑧ Precautions for PP pipe construction
a. During the connection process of PP pipes, if the heating temperature is too low, they cannot melt and are prone to burrs; Excessive temperature can easily cause resin deterioration and poor connections.
b、 During storage and installation, pipes should avoid contact with organic substances such as paint and asphalt; Do not store outdoors to prevent direct sunlight. When there is a large temperature difference between the construction site and the pipe storage area, the materials should be placed on the construction site for a certain period of time before installation, so that their temperature is close to that of the construction site.
c、 Axial distortion is strictly prohibited during pipeline installation, and forced correction is not allowed when passing through walls. When installed parallel to other metal pipelines, there should be a certain protection distance, and it is recommended to install on both sides of the metal pipeline.
d、 During hot melt insertion and calibration, rotation is strictly prohibited.
e、 When welding elbows, tees, and other fittings, attention should be paid to their direction, and their positions should be marked with auxiliary markers in the straight line direction of the fittings and pipes.
