Standard classification of single head electric heating tubes

1. Single head heating tubes are generally divided into:

① Micro single head heating tube: diameter ranging from Φ 3 to Φ 5.9mm

② Standard single head heating tube: diameter Φ 6 ～ Φ 25mm

③ Large single head heating tube: diameter Φ 25 ～ Φ 100mm

④ Two semi-circular single head heating tubes: Two semi-circular single head heating tubes are improved products of ordinary single end mold heating elements. They are made by folding a semi-circular heating element in half, and the self expansion force and mold hole are tightly matched after folding. They have the advantages of high power density, long service life, and high thermal efficiency. They are the updated products of mold single end heating elements, especially for molds that require high temperature and fast heating speed.

⑤ Flat single head heating tube: This product is effective as a heating element Z in molds in special environments, and is used in some tapered mold holes. And for use by other equipment vendors.

⑥ Square single head heating tube: This product is effective as a heating element Z in molds in special environments, and is used in some tapered mold holes.

⑦ Cone type single head electric heating tube: This product is effective as a heating element Z in molds in special environments, and is used in some tapered mold holes.

2. According to the standard for outgoing lines, single head heating tubes are generally divided into:

① External wiring single head heating tube: Stainless steel hard wire is led out from the inside of the heating tube and connected to a high-temperature wire from the outside. This process is a standard process.

② Internal lead single head heating tube: The high-temperature wire is directly led out from the inside of the heating tube, which has a high cost but is not easy to break.

③ Soft lead single head heating tube: Stainless steel soft wire is led out from the inside of the heating tube and covered with a fiberglass sleeve on the outside. This process has low cost and is not prone to wire breakage.

3. According to the process, single head heating tubes are generally divided into:

① High density single head heating tube: produced using magnesium oxide rod wrapped with wire. Generally, both ultra-high power single head tubes and high-power single head tubes are produced using this process.

② Low density single head heating tube: made by using magnesium oxide tube wire transfer. Generally, single head tubes and low power densities are produced using this process.

③ PTC self controlled single head heating tube: produced using rare earth metals instead of traditional electric heating wires. This product can automatically control the temperature by utilizing the resistance properties of rare earth metals.
