1. Refrigeration system
Composed of pipes inside the freezer and freeze-drying box. The function of a freezer is to cool the freeze-drying box and condenser to generate and maintain the low temperature required for their operation.
2. The vacuum system evacuates the freeze-drying box and cold trap. It mainly consists of a freeze-drying box, condenser, pipelines and valves, vacuum instruments, and vacuum pumps. 3. The circulation system (heating system) provides cold and heat sources for the shelf. Composed of a series of cooling and heating heat exchangers, the heat transfer medium is powered by a circulating pump, and the components are connected through AISI304 stainless steel pipes. The heat transfer medium exchanges heat with the product through shelves. 4. The control system controls the operation and process settings of the freeze dryer. All instruments that require control and regulation are installed in two separate cabinets: the electrical cabinet is used for the electrical system, and the control cabinet is used for instruments and control systems. 5. The hydraulic system is mainly used to press the bottle stopper into the bottle mouth at the end of freeze-drying, such as penicillin bottle freeze-dried powder.
6. The online cleaning system (CIP) is used for cleaning the freeze-drying box and cold trap after freeze-drying is completed. 7. The online sterilization system (SIP) is used for sterilization of freeze-drying boxes and cold traps before and after freeze-drying operations.
8. After the defrosting system has finished freeze-drying, defrost the water trap before proceeding to the next freeze-drying operation. The common defrosting methods are divided into steam defrosting and water bath defrosting.
