Precautions for the use of stainless steel explosion-proof distribution boxes:

  1. The distribution box should be equipped with electrical components such as control switches and residual current maintenance devices for each branch line;

  2. Each working circuit inside the box should be fixed and not placed arbitrarily;

  3. Due to the convergence of various electrical components in the distribution box, miscellaneous items cannot be stacked inside the box. Various switches are fixed on the device board, and if they become loose, screws should be tightened in a timely manner;

When installing internal circuits, attention should be paid to ensuring that the copper wires at each end do not come into contact with each other. The screws that fix the wires of the electrical switch must be locked tightly to avoid loosening and causing scattered wires. The electrical equipment inside the explosion-proof distribution box should be checked regularly to ensure safe and sensitive operation. If there is any damage or problem, it should be replaced immediately;

  5. Each electrical device should have a corresponding switch and must not be overloaded. Some company owners often use multiple electrical devices to share a switch in order to save money. If an electrical device has a problem and the switch is not turned off in a timely manner, it is also easy to damage another device;

  6. Insulation measures should be taken between various electrical systems and circuits, and consideration should be given to whether the spacing between the devices of each electrical system can affect each other;

1. As the name suggests, it has two power supply lines and is generally used for low-voltage explosion-proof distribution boxes;

2. The main power supply is usually mains power, which comes from a transformer;

3. The backup power supply is usually provided by a diesel generator;

4. During work, the conversion between primary and backup supply is achieved through a controller:

a、 When the main power supply is available, the controller automatically closes the main power supply circuit, relying on the transformer for power supply;

b、 When the main power supply loses power, the controller will send a start signal to the generator set to power the engine. At this time, the backup power supply circuit will be energized, and the dual power supply will automatically separate the main power supply and close the backup power supply;

c、 When the main power supply is restored, the backup power supply will be separated, the main power supply will be closed, and the controller will send a signal to the generator set to stop it. In fact, this is the "self switching and self recovery" function of the dual power supply that we usually refer to.

Taking explosion-proof power distribution in civil buildings as an example, let's explain it vividly:

1. The low-voltage 380V (400V) outgoing line of the transformer enters the low-voltage explosion-proof distribution box, and the electrical energy is distributed once (divided into multiple channels) through the distribution box, which is a level 1 distribution;

2. The outgoing lines in front are connected to explosion-proof distribution boxes (or cabinets) on each floor, and then split into multiple channels. This distribution box is the second distribution of electrical energy and belongs to level 2 distribution;
