working principle

Luminescent bacteria can emit light normally in non-toxic water, but their luminescence performance is inhibited when the water is affected by toxic pollutants, and the degree of inhibition is well correlated with the concentration of toxic pollutants. This biotoxicity detector uses newly cultivated luminescent bacteria (Vibrio fischeri) as biosensors to detect the luminescence intensity of luminescent bacteria before and after exposure to the tested sample, and calculate the percentage of light loss.
