Overview
The HBTN-1 online total nitrogen analyzer automatically completes water sample collection through the control of an embedded industrial computer system. The water sample enters the reaction chamber and is oxidized by alkaline potassium persulfate to convert ammonia nitrogen, nitrite nitrogen, and most organic nitrogen compounds in the water sample into nitrate. Then, its absorbance is measured by UV spectrophotometry, amplified by a signal amplifier, and transmitted to an embedded industrial computer. After data processing, the embedded industrial computer displays the total nitrogen concentration value and stores, processes, and transmits the data. This instrument is suitable for the determination of total nitrogen in surface water and industrial wastewater.
