1. Composition
The acid mist absorber consists of four main parts: the acid mist inlet system, the water addition system, the absorption system, and the discharge system. It is connected to the on-site acid storage tank to form a closed-loop acid mist absorption system.
2. Working principle
The acid mist inlet of the acid mist absorber is connected to the exhaust port of the acid storage tank through a corrosion-resistant pipeline to form a closed system. Water is added from the water inlet and sprayed evenly through the water addition system. After being fully absorbed by the water through the absorption system, the acid mist is released, and then the aqueous solution is discharged through the drainage port to the neutralization tank
Technical requirements for equipment installation
1. Environmental conditions
(1) The equipment should be installed near the industrial storage tank for easy pipeline connection. It is best to install it outdoors. If installed indoors, it should be installed in a separate workshop with the acid storage tank. The area depends on the equipment model and the size of the acid storage tank;

(2) It is best to install this device in a location that avoids direct sunlight. If used indoors, a proper exhaust fan should be installed to maintain good ventilation.

2. Installation conditions

(1) Indoor should have a power water source, with a pipe diameter of DN ≥ 20mm and a conventional power water pressure of 0.2-0.4Mpa;

(2) The floor of the equipment workshop should be covered with acid resistant tiles and equipped with a flushing water source and drainage ditch;

(3) The acid storage tank provided by the customer should have certain protective measures, such as guardrails, protective walls, and leak prevention devices.
3. Equipment installation
Only when the above environmental and installation conditions are met can the equipment be installed and put into normal operation.
Equipment operation program
(1) The acid mist inlet of the acid mist absorber is connected to the exhaust port of the acid storage tank (or metering box) through a corrosion-resistant pipeline to form a closed system. The acid mist tube is connected from the inlet of the absorber, and water is connected from the inlet of the absorber to keep the flowing water in a constant state. The wastewater is discharged into the neutralization tank.
(2) When starting to use the equipment, first open the valves on the inlet and outlet pipelines. When water is found to be flowing out, then open the valve on the acid mist inlet pipeline.
The acid mist absorber is a type of acid mist absorption device designed based on the strong liquid emitted by users during on-site loading and unloading of 31% industrial products, which generates acid mist in the atmosphere and causes certain irritation and corrosion to surrounding instruments, meters, equipment, human bodies, and buildings.
The acid mist absorber designed by our company is based on the chemical characteristics of acid mist being easily soluble in water. The acid mist discharged from the acid storage tank or acid metering tank is absorbed by water and released, purifying the gas before being discharged, achieving the goal of preventing environmental pollution.
