Ventilation systems can be divided into three categories based on their operating principles
Ventilation system is a building environment control technology that uses methods such as ventilation dilution or ventilation elimination to control the spread and harm of air pollutants, and achieve indoor and outdoor air quality assurance. It is a complete set of devices that achieve the function of ventilation, including air inlet, exhaust outlet, air supply duct, fan, filter, control system, and other ancillary equipment. It can be divided into three categories based on its operating principle: self balancing, moisture controlled, and bidirectional flow heat recovery.
Self balancing type: refers to the ventilation fan that can automatically adjust the cross-sectional size of the air outlet at different air pressures at each end of each room, namely the supply and exhaust ports, in order to maintain the designed air volume.
Humidity controlled: refers to the installation of a humidity detector at the end of the ventilation fan's air outlet, which can sense the indoor humidity level and control the cross-sectional size of the air outlet to achieve the purpose of adjusting the air volume.
Bidirectional flow heat recovery type: refers to a ventilation fan that has both a supply fan and an exhaust fan, as well as a heat recovery device. We usually call it a total heat exchanger. It can achieve a balance between indoor energy and outdoor energy.
