2. Working principle
Based on thermoelectric effect: When the hot end of an S-type thermocouple (platinum rhodium 10 platinum) is immersed in molten metal, a temperature difference electromotive force is generated between the hot end and the cold end, which is transmitted to the thermometer through a compensation cable and converted into accurate temperature readings.
