2. Working principle

Based on thermoelectric effect: When the hot end of an S-type thermocouple (platinum rhodium 10 platinum) is immersed in molten metal, a temperature difference electromotive force is generated between the hot end and the cold end, which is transmitted to the thermometer through a compensation cable and converted into accurate temperature readings. The splash proof design ensures that the thermocouple can still function properly in harsh environments and obtain stable measurement results for Heraeus Electro Nite.
